halloween tin swap

Last month I participated in the Bliss Angels Halloween Tin Swap. The tin I made for my partner Marti will probably look a little familiar to you.

It is very similar to the matchbox I made for the Vintage Dragonfly swap. The theme is again Sybilla and Delphine's Apothecarium.

match box swap

I joined the Halloween Matchbox swap at Vintage Dragonfly and was very excited to be paired with the very talented Lynn from Trash to Treasure Art. I have seen Lynn's work published in Stampington magazines many times and love her creations. Here is the wonderful matchbox and the awesome goodies she sent me.

First is this hauntingly spooky matchbox. We used the larger size box for this swap. I love the wicked tag chained to the skelly hand.

faerie shoe and wand swap

Hello and good Thursday afternoon! Hope you're enjoying a lazy summer day. I want to share the wonderful faerie slipper I received from Lorraine, from Over the Rainebeau for the Bliss Angels Faerie Shoe Swap.

The slipper itself is just adorable, with beautiful details and a tiny sweet faerie. But Lorraine also included a lovely card and little faerie treats!

And she also attached a length of tulle ribbon so I can hang it in a special place. Thank you so much Lorraine. I love it!

I also want to share the wand I received from Lynn, from Ruby Rabbit Studios for the Bliss Angels Spring Wand Swap in April. Somehow I forgot to post it and the shoe made me remember.

Lynn created this adorable woodland wand for me!

Topped with a birdhouse and a cute birdie peeking out. The roof is made from a pine cone and Lynn said she attached each 'shingle' individually! I love that the handle is an actual branch.

Here is another side of the birdhouse showing a clay tile with a dragonfly design.

Luna had her eye on my wand right away so I made sure to put it in a safe place where she couldn't get her little kitty paws on that birdie. Thank you so much again Lynn!

spring wand to dazzle and delight

This month I participated in the Spring Wand Swap at Bliss Angels.

After some trial and error I finally made this one to send to my swap partner Lynn.

If you remember the wand I previewed a few weeks ago you might notice this isn't the same wand, although it's very similar.

I used a much shorter stick (a chopstick) for the first one but afterwards I thought it looked more like a lolli than a wand.

So I made another one with a longer dowel and changed a few things here and there.

And what about the first wand you ask?

Well come back on Sunday, the first of May and celebrate May Day with me with a giveaway!

Thank you Wendy for a fun wand swap.

You can visit the Spring Wand Swap group pool at Flickr to see lots more enchanting wands.
