I am just not good at this 'resting the arm' thing. I'm really trying. But the more frustrated I get the more I find excuses to use it. So I was bad. I tried to paint the day before. See if I only move my wrist and elbow it feels ok. The tendonitis is in my shoulder and upper bicep. But then I would forget and stretch it a little this way and that way. By evening it didn't feel so great again. I know I know. My husband already yelled at me. So I thought I wouuld just show you what I was working on.

I'm not quite sure what she's going to be yet when she's all done but it just felt good to get back to playing with a paint brush again.

I even played around with adding these letters. What do you think? Words or no words? The canvas is 11x14. I might even put her in my Etsy shop for the holidays. But I'll just leave it for now and get back to the resting thing. And I figured since I was being bad I might as well not stop here. Hee-hee.

Hi Anna! Your new painting is LOVELY. I like it with the words. :) Go for it! So sorry you are still having problems with your arm. I actually aggravated a shoulder injury and really tried to take it easy yesterday. It was NOT easy, let me tell you. I tried to be gentle with it today, as well, but I just really needed to get on the computer! Take care of yourself! Theresa

She is beautiful - the words are perfect - anything that has to do with dreams has got to send a positive message.

Anna I have tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome from doing hair for 28 years now. I got so much better after I start practicing Bikram yoga, going on my 5 year. My pains are gone. And I can keep doing my art and all crazy things. Maybe some yoga can help you to feel better and to reverse the damage . healing to you my friend!

I can totally sympathize with you Anna! I have tendinitis in my elbow thanks to long hours spent with my camera and on the computer processing photos and doing digital art. I've had four cortisone shots and the pigment around my elbow died so I have a big white spot. I can't have anymore shots so I have to live with it. I have to agree with Andrea in the above post. Yoga is the cure all. If I practice Yoga regularly, I do not have the pain. Also, whenever you are on the computer wear a tendon brace around the tendon just below the elbow and a wrist guard. ALWAYS. I hope that helps! healing hugs! Oh, and your girl is adorable! Love the colors! So happy!
